Elias joined gpl Solutions in 2005 and is a qualified accountant with a Bachelor of Business majoring in Accounting from The University of Technology, Sydney and a Master of Commerce majoring in Banking and Finance from The University of NSW. He has the status of FCPA with CPA Australia and CA with The Institute of Charted Accountants Australia. Elias is also a member of The Institute of Company Directors and is a Registered Tax Agent.

Elias has extensive experience gained in working with large multinational firms such as IBM Australia, Revlon Manufacturing and Alcatel. He has advised senior management on all business matters including business development, corporate governance, business management, marketing and information technology.

His extensive experience with business is backed up by a detailed knowledge of income tax, capital gains tax and GST.

Elias is well qualified to assist clients with business consultancy, management accounting, taxation, business valuations and information technology.

David is one of the founding partners of gpl Solutions and has acted as a principal since 1981. David is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, and the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He is also a Registered Company Auditor and a Tax Agent.

David has extensive experience in advising small to medium sized enterprises, as well as individuals. His comprehensive expertise includes all aspects of accounting, taxation, business structuring, management, business valuations and dispute resolution.

David enjoys working closely with his clients to assist them in developing strategies for the promotion of their businesses and wealth.

David joined gpl Solutions in 2005 after being a National Finance Director for over 9 years with Publicis Communications group, the third largest communications advertising company in the world.  Prior to that experience, David was at KPMG, where he specialised in the auditing of banking and advertising clients.  David has an MBA, a Bachelor of Commerce and is also a Chartered Accountant.

David heads the superannuation division at gpl Solutions. He specialises in the administration and accounting of Self Managed Superannuation Funds and assists clients with contribution and retirement strategies. 

David works closely with our Financial Planning division of gpl Wealth Solutions, to help clients attain their superannuation and retirement objectives.

Alex is one of the founding partners of gpl Solutions. Alex joined the Institute of Chartered Accountants as a member in 1965 and advanced to a Fellow in 1972.

Initially, Alex specialised in auditing and income tax.  As a result of his stellar performance on insurance claims for clients, he made the transition from tax to forensic accounting.

He has been involved in the examination and preparation of claims, and acts as an expert accounting witness in Australia and overseas, particularly in the Pacific Rim and South East Asia. He has acted on claims in a wide range of industries including, but not limited to: retail, manufacturing, mining, shipping and the service industry. 

Alex joined gpl Solutions in 2008 after holding senior roles in the construction and development industry, during which time he was introduced to forensic accounting and elected to pursue a career in our forensic division.

Alex brings to the forensic division a wealth of experience, including commercial business advice, business planning, management consulting, business re-structuring, financial statements, management reporting, auditing, due diligence and business development. He has acted for a number of SME’s and has negotiated commercial resolutions and facilitated settlement between parties.

Alex holds a Bachelor of Business from the University of Cape Town majoring in Accounting and Economics and is a qualified chartered accountant (KPMG).

 His portfolio to date includes work performed on preparing and examining business interruption, personal loss and professional indemnity claims as well as family law matters.
